Knit a version of the Nightshift Shawl in five shades of Malabrigo Rios.
The kit includes:
5 x 100g Malabrigo Rios (hand-dyed 100% Merino)
A printed copy of the Nightshift Shawl pattern designed by Andrea Mowry. You will also receive a digital copy of the pattern in a separate email from Ravelry. If you would like the pattern to go straight to your Ravelry library please put your Ravelry user name in the message box when you order.
You will also need a 5.00mm circular needle – the shawl is knitted flat but the circular needle helps accommodate the stitches as the shawl grows.
This version uses five colours rather than the six listed in the pattern so the kit includes a description of the order in which I’ve used the colours.
The Nightshift Shawl is an asymmetric triangular shawl that is worked flat from side to side. The shawl is worked using slip stitch which means you are only using one colour per row. The shawl also has an i-cord edge for a polished look.
Malabrigo Rios is a lusciously soft, hand-dyed 100% merino worsted weight yarn.
To try to reduce costs, this version of the shawl uses five shades of Rios rather than the six listed in the pattern. The kit also includes a table showing the order in which I have placed the colours. Feel free to ignore this and use the colours in any combination you wish!

Please note that the finished shawl is slightly smaller than the measurements on the original pattern: wingspan 128cm and depth 70cm after a gentle blocking.
