The Sophie Shawl is worked back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges.
The kit contains:
150g/300m skein of Katia Kyomu (48% Superfine Alpaca, 27% Merino Wool, 25% Polyamide) sufficient for the small version of the shawl
Sophie Shawl pattern designed by PetiteKnit (purchased through the Ravelry in-store pattern scheme)
You will also need (not included): 5.00mm needles (straight or circular).
The Sophie Shawl is a stylish scarf design by Danish designer, PetiteKnit. It is knitted in one piece from tip to tip in garter stitch with built in i-cord edging. The colour changes of Katia Kyomu complement the design well, providing blocks of colour without the need to change yarn.
One 150g skein is enough to knit the small version and you can make it slightly larger by following the pattern suggestions of weighing the yarn before you start and increasing until you have used just under half of the skein.
