The Stylecraft yarn pack contains 12 x 100g balls of Stylecraft Special DK (100% premium acrylic). This is sufficient yarn to knit the Hue Shift Afghan designed by Kerin Dimeler-Hughes. The yarn pack does not contain the pattern. The pattern is available to purchase from Knitpicks

The throw is made with garter stitch mitred squares and finished off with a black border. It is knit in four pieces and then seamed together and stitches re picked up for each border. Each of the four sections begins at a corner and mitred squares are picked up and knit directly onto the existing work. By combining this clever construction with simple garter stitch knitting, you are ale to create a stunning throw with minimal effort!

Stylecraft Special DK is not the original yarn for the pattern but has been used for the version pictured here. I used 3.75mm needles and the finished size is 50″ square.
