The Knitting Goddess has very kindly dyed this self-striping sock yarn in a bright colourway which is exclusive to Wool Zone.

The yarn is a luxurious blend of 75% British Bluefaced Leicester Wool and 25% Nylon. The wool is sourced from UK flocks, processed in Yorkshire, spun in Peru and hand-dyed in Harrogate. Perfect for stripey socks or colourful accessories.

The Knitting Goddess is an indie hand dyer of beautiful British yarns. The Knitting Goddess opened in 2004, after Joy got hooked on dyeing yarn. Dyeing yarn started because Joy bought yarn  to make a sweater and didn’t realise how different the batches were.

Joy and Bobbie moved to Yorkshire in 2012, and it’s been the perfect place to grow a business which loves British wool. They are close to some of the finest mills in the UK, and over time have got to know the people who spin their yarn.
