This latest collection in the Opal Rainforest series features eight designs which celebrate ‘die Talentschmiede – ‘The Talent Factory’ which finds it’s habitat in the rainforest.  Whether it be the ‘Acrobat of the Water’, the ‘Wizard of the Trees’ or the ‘Dancer in the Snow’ each of these beautiful self patterning yarns is inspired by a different Rainforest creature.

Not only are the yarns beautiful, but they also make a difference.  Opal donate a share of the proceeds from their Rainforest series to the charity ‘Rainforest Rescue’ in support of Rainforest conservation.  Across the Rainforest collections thus far over 330,000 Euros has been donated so far, and this collection will enable that sum to grow.

This yarn is, of course, perfect for making socks but it’s also fantastic to see it’s patterns unfold across garments or accessories too.
