Opal Wintersonne is the new range of 8 ply sock yarn from Opal and comes in six stunning shades. The yarn is a blend of 75% wool and 25% polyamide and is perfect when you want to make thicker socks to wear with boots or as house socks. The yarn is also great for cosy accessories like hats, scarves and mitts. Each 150g ball has 320m of yarn, enough for a pair of socks. A free sock pattern is included with each ball purchased. The pattern uses 4.00mm double-pointed needles – great when you need to make a pair of socks in a hurry!
